So this preview will be about the things I saw and heard during the presentation. But unfortunately, the game was in such an early developing stage we couldn’t. I would have done anything in order to play this game after the presentation. Or maybe it felt this short because I was so overwhelmed by the game and the time seemed to fly by. The presentation only lasted for 20 minutes or so. Now we finally got the chance to see what it was about and how it looked like. We were the first ones, except for the EA employees of course, who got to see The Sims Medieval. We came to see the game, of course!Īfter the knight tournament the presentation finally began. But, this was not the reason why we were here. I really enjoyed it all, especially the tournament. Because of this, we got into the Medieval atmosphere and all the clues made us really curious and enthusiastic. I was really surprised about all the effort EA put into the introduction of this preview. Before we got a presentation about the game, we had a delightful medieval lunch and we got to see the knight tournament we were waiting for. She took our doubts away, today we definitely would get to see The Sims Medieval. First we had a short tour through the EA office by one of the employees of EA. There we saw a real medieval knight tournament, we would get to see this later that day. This because when we went in the huge EA office, we crossed a field of grass. The very next day it was indeed confirmed that we would get to see The Sims Medieval. It was obvious tomorrow we get to see The Sims Medieval! We also got a VIP-card with a knight and a medieval chair printed on it. The menu was specially made for our group, there were pictures of knights on it. We had dinner at a restaurant with a medieval like theme. The evening before we would get to see the preview of The Sims Medieval, EA already gave us some clues on what we could expect. As a Sims fansite we already knew that the website address was reserved, but we weren’t sure if this was one of the games EA would show us. EA was not planning to tell me this until the day itself. Before I am going to talk about the game itself, I want to tell something about what happened the day before we got to see the game.īefore I went to America I did not know which games to expect. The atmosphere of the medieval period EA created was just perfect, I really like the medieval setting. I was enthusiast about The Sims Medieval from the very first minute and when I saw the first images of it I fell completely in love. This preview will be about the second game I got to see, called The Sims Medieval! And me, Lex, or better known as Xelles, from Sims3nieuws was there too. There were about thirteen journalists from different countries and media, there was someone from the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf and there was someone from. The Group of Lucky ones who did get to see the games was really small. Both games were never shown to public yet. Last month, on the 8th of July, EA put me on a plane and took me to Redwood City, near San Fransisco, so I could get a sneak peak of two of their latest games. This sounds very neat! I'd also like a pets/farm animals expansion.Wil je liever de Nederlandse versie lezen? Klik dan hier. If you could simply go into a town editor and push a theme button it would be ideal. Males would also get messy, long, and curly hair. Long braided hair, as well as wavy long hair would be included for the females. A costume trunk for the sims to play with which would include dragon, fairy, mermaid/merman, and other mythical creature outfits. Then going more into the maiden dresses of the Victorian era, and those long jackets for the men. Perhaps some shiny knight outfits for the boys and princess dresses for the girls. It would also include hair, and clothes from the Victorian and medieval eras. Of course there would be other furniture too. Also add in some Victorian flair with building and buy modes with elegant couches and matching chairs. Basically going with the theme of stone, brick, wood, and iron (like iron bared windows). For building I was thinking along the lines of stone steps, stone arches, small wooden doors that have a point on the top. It would also include medieval style furniture, and building options. For example decorating a girls room with fairy themed furniture, or a boys room with sci-fi robot theme. This expansion pack would also include more unique building and buy mode options. They would have creatures such as small pet dragons, mermaids that can grant wishes, and magical pixels (yes pixels not pixies ) that you can collect. "I would love more a fantasy or mythical expansion pack. I actually wrote this on another post, so I'm going to copy and paste it here too.
